Uniquely You Campaign...

I am so excited to be teaming up with Modcloth in the Uniquely You Campaign.  The lovely Beach Blanket Bingo One Piece was the item that they asked me to style, and I couldn't be more excited, because I have a beach trip coming up soon.  I selected an adorable cobalt headband to hold back those fly-aways from that beach breeze and fabulous cat-eye sunglasses to protect my eyes from the rays.  After spending the day on the beach,  an adorable sundress, neutral wedges, and a gorgeous tote (to match my headband of course) would allow me to transition to a casual night out.  What do you think? How would you style this lovely suit?

Very few outfits require so little effort and still provide such a level of relaxed sophistication and style.  As much as I love fitted and tailored pieces, sometimes it is nice to throw on a oversized item and enjoy the comfort associated with it (without sacrificing my "stylish" integrity).  Remember, oversized pieces should be worn with intent and purpose.  Otherwise, you could just end up with a sloppy look on your hands, and no one wants that. This past weekend, Jordan and I visited Senoia, GA to pick up some camera gear.  Other than being an adorable little town, Senoia is where AMC's The Walking Dead is filmed.  So being the fangirl that I am,  I had to go to "Woodbury" and stand where the barrier wall once stood (very dorky, I know).  Do you guys watch The Walking Dead?  Who is your favorite character?  I am all about some Daryl! Anyway, in regards to this outfit, I love the playfulness that early spring weather allows.  The warmer days, but cool nights allow you to blend pieces from different seasons, creating the opportunity for tons of diversity and options. This silk blouse from Equipment is light and cut perfectly. I left it untucked and paired it with some leggings for a more casual look.  Of course, no early spring outfit is complete without a light denim jacket and some killer boots.  How are you girls dressing for this warmer weather? I hope y'all had a fantastic weekend!  To be honest, I feel like I was going nonstop all weekend, and I could totally use another couple days off. Anyway, can we talk about this jacket for a second?  I am totally in love! First of all, the color is amazing, and the shape is perfect.  To make an already fabulous jacket better, the sleeves can be unzipped to create an amazing vest.  Rag & Bone, you did it again.  This is why you are my favorite. Style Swap Link-Up 7.0

This week I swapped looks with Fonda from Savvy Southern and Beth from Seersucker and Saddles.  I was immediately drawn to this look as soon as Fonda linked up.  Her take on Beth's look was perfect, I loved that she put her own spin on it by wearing denim instead of leather.  But you girl's know me, if leather is involved or could be involved, I am going for it.  Make sure to check out both of these lovely blogs.
