Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

Top: JCrew Factory old (similar here)Skirt: JCrewSandals: old (currently craving these)Necklace: Gift from JordanWatch: Kate SpadeEarrings: Tiffany & Co.

This past weekend, Jordan and I went to a ball game.  When selecting my outfit, I knew I wanted to wear Braves colors but I didn't want to look like the typical fan.  I kept it casual with my flat sandals and ball cap but added flare with an eyelet skirt.
What do you wear when heading to a sports event?
Happy Monday!

Maxi Skirt...

In my opinion, maxi skirts are like a good pair of jeans. They both possess a versatility and comfort that can be dressed up or down depending on your specific needs. If you haven’t given a Maxi skirt a try yet, please do.  I promise you will not be disappointed.

Mustard...

J Crew’s toothpick denim pants are currently one of my favorite articles of clothing in my wardrobe.  I have these particular pants in multiple colors, but I must say that my mustard pair seems to be the most versatile. I can dress them up or down. I can use them as a neutral base or as a colorful statement piece.  You can literally wear these pants so many different ways! FYI, be prepared to see these pants again on the blog.
Happy Friday!

White...

How often do you see an article of clothing in white that you pass up because of how easily it could be ruined? I am the queen of spilling things, and my husband is the almighty king.  So, I have learned to always keep our laundry room stocked with a good stain remover. It is totally worth it though, because when worn right, nothing beats the classiness of white.
Happy Thursday!

Corilynn...

I have always loved the look of classic silhouettes on a woman's figure.  In my opinion, there is nothing more flattering than a high waisted A-line skirt.  Thank goodness for Corilynn, a wonderful little shop that creates fantastic, handmade skirts in multiple prints and colors, all the while sticking to this classic shape.  Check the shop out and let me know what you think.
Happy Monday!

The Denim Jacket...

Dress: JCrew Factory old (similar style here)│Jacket: American EagleSandals: old (love these)│Bag: Kate Spade old (love this fiery number)│Necklace: JCrew (JCrew inspired version here)│Bracelets: Kate Spade and Ily Couture │Watch: Kate SpadeEarrings: Tiffany's & Co.

I would like to talk about my love affair with the classic denim jacket. This gender neutral piece goes with virtually anything:  Skirts, Shorts, Cropped Pants, or Maxi Dresses (as I am demonstrating today).  Really, adding a denim jacket to any outfit is the simplest way to create new look with a traditional flare.
Happy Friday!
